RAHHH IM BORED TO DECOMPOSITION!! hmm and seems like i really damn long never blog le so ta da! hahahahahahahaha..........
TAIWAN TRIP
actually i was very hesitant about blogging on this.. cos i seriously dunno who knows that i went LOL. anyway i went taiwan from 22th nov to 28th nov with some of the huangcheng chouwei (huiying, hongwei, junjie and yinghan) yupps..
1st day: supposed to meet them at the airport at 6am but i was late cos my dad was so insistent on not leaving the house early.. =.=;; then checked in blah blah and we are on the plane! yayy!! it feels damn long since i ever took a plane. china airlines was better than i expected! they got TV, movies(not very outdated yet) and games(mahjong, poker etc) for entertainment but in the end i think i slept more so yupps. then after we reached the airport thinking that there should be someone to fetch us to the hotel, BUT in actual fact there was NONE. GRRR.. stupid XXX travel agency!! so we had to take the 客运 to taipei station and ended up walking to our hotel.. it was a disaster cos we walked for almost 1 hour, looking like total idiots in 西门町 with the luggage =.=;; lucky we still managed to reach the hotel with huiying's superb 问路 skills. hahaha! then we just threw our luggage in the hotel room and went to 士林夜市. actually the 夜市 was ok, we ate 鸡排，蚵仔煎，花枝羹，棺材板，大饼包小饼 and drank 泡泡茶，then we left already LOL. but because it was a saturday, the 夜市 was very crowded and we kinda hate squeezing around so we left early and went back to the hotel to unpack our luggage and etc. o ya i watched 霹雳MIT in taiwan! AH SO COOL!! hahaha although i watched it the previous day already cos saturday is 重播. but watching it in taiwan is just DIFFERENT. yeah then after watching = sleep!

2nd day: wake up, wash up, breakfast then we set off to 士林的故宫博物馆 to build up our artistic sense lol. yah but the exhibits generally quite nice la, the jade cabbage is most impressive to me. then after that we went to 淡水老街, i think the street is really quite nice to walk. it may be crowded but at least no need to squeeze here and there cos the street was quite wide unlike 夜市... =.=;; ate 鲁肉饭，贡丸，鱼丸，豆花 and 黑豆花. bought some 土产 like 鱼酥，虾饼 back too! then we took a bus to 渔人码头，didnt spend alot of time there cos we need to rush back to 西门町 by 4.30 to sing K! hahaha! yeah so we just took some photos then go back le.. but the view was really nice although im sure it would be nicer at night. =.=;; taiwan K system is much more fantastic than singapore's despite the fact that i dun like the lag(3 sec) in between songs. the room was SPACIOUS... and there was a solo seat in front LOL. i like the scoring system though its very inaccurate.. but my high score is 88!! hahahaha im so zai! so after K, we went back to hotel.

3rd day: today, we went to 六福村(theme park)! didnt really play alot of stuff there cos some were too scary and we were kinda on a tight schedule. but the theme park was really very cool as compared to singapore's escape which is PATHETIC! 六福村 got zoo, many souvenir shops, cafeterias and 游乐设施。but i think their zoo was quite bad cos the environment is seriously not conducive enough for the animals. it bears no resemblance to their original habitats so in this case singapore's zoo is better. (: hmm and huiying and junjie were the most courageous out of all cos they played something that the other 3 of us didnt dare to. LOL. around evening, we went to 台北 101 and 新光三越 and i saw my DREAM WALLET at the 诚品书局 nearby which costs 200 sing dollars!! AHHH!!! and of cos i never buy la.. SIGHS!!!! later in the night, we went to 西门町 to SHOP!! MUAHAHAHA finally.. shopping!! due to very different taste and preferences, the girls and guys SPLIT if not really quite waste time. that night, huiying and i each bought one pair of shoes and some random chocolates. we played the 夹娃娃 machines and caught 3 toys! the machines there are much cheaper cos its only 50cents per play and its one dollar in singapore.. sian! i think we only spent around 3-4 sing dollars on the 3 toys cos im such a pro! (: then that night, all of us were niaoing hongwei cos he bought a jacket (the one he wore during prom) that costs 230 sing dollars =.=;; so not thrifty!! and for the rest of the trip, he was on a super tight budget..

4th day: in the day, we went to 基隆（九份）to shop for 土产. the stuff there are really very nice! the whole place got a very 复古的味道. and it was quite funny to see how the guys were so afraid of the 臭豆腐 smell.. i bought a shirt and a bottle there (: and many food like 凤梨酥，太阳饼，布丁 and many other random snacks. for lunch we went to a shop that is famous for 丸，the 丸s there were huge but very chewy! and the 老板娘 took alot of 自恋 photos and pasted them around the whole shop. some photos got artistes etc but i think mostly were of herself.. lol. in the late afternoon, we left 九份，went back to the hotel to put our stuff and went to 师大夜市. there basically got nothing much la but still not bad to walk though. ate desserts, 水煎包, 可丽饼 and some other random stuff. oo and i bought a starry jacket, a stamp and socks there hahaha! after that we went back to hotel le.. and watch tv！ oo and then because it was junjie's birthday so at night we gave him a birthday surprise! the tiramisu thingy from 85degrees really damn nice!!!

5th day: went to 五分铺，which was like an ultimate bugis street with much more stuff and variations! hahaha. ate 胡须张鲁肉饭 for lunch, its damn nice! i think huiying and i totally went on a spree that day and spent around 100sing LOL, but we bought a lot of stuff cos the clothes there really very cheap as compared to singapore. i bought 6 t-shirts, a necklace and most importantly my prom dress! hahaha! the guys didnt buy a lot cos the style there is seriously not their style, and 70% were winter stuff already. but if they really know how to wear the stuff there, they will be 潮男 in singapore.. hahaha! after 五分铺，we went to 西门町 again cos the guys want to buy their shoes there. yinghan very imba cos he bought shoes for his sister and brother! so nice.. cos i wont buy de. huiying bought a limited edition converse high cut sneakers which is seriously very cute (: but not really my style cos i dun like wearing red hahaha. we ate 熊一烧肉 for dinner and its seriously the best BBQ/steamboat i ever ate. they got alot of variations of meat unlike SEOUL GARDEN.. and the dessert bar was cool cos they got hagen daz (i forgot the spelling, =.=), meiji and movenpick icecream! oo and the coolest thing was we got a discount card from the shoe shop manager cos shes a friend of the boss of 熊一烧肉！ haha! cos huiying went to ask her where was 熊一烧肉，whee huiying is damn zai. lol! after that i think we went to play with the 夹娃娃 machines again lol! hahaha.

6th day: we checked out of the hotel cos we were going to 北投的温泉会馆！the travelling thing not much to mention about but at least we didnt look as flustered and dumb as compared to the 1st day(西门町暴走） =.= the 温泉会馆 was damn cool, cos inside got pool, table tennis and the basketball machine!! oo the basketball machine costs 50cents per try and compare it with singapore's one dollar per try， RAHH! oo and that day, i think i played until muscle ache not sure about the rest. =.=;; the room also very cool cos it was tatami style which is quite warm actually. the 温泉 is in-built into the bathroom so we can use it whenever we like and can adjust the temperature to our liking too! haha so today was just a reward for us after all the walking, shopping and playing the pat few days! (:

7th day: HOME SWEET HOME! back to singapore.

IN GENERAL, frankly speaking, i think taiwan service is so much better than singapore.. the people there are so WELL-MANNERED(w the exception of a few esp aunties!) ahh, now i understand why people say singapore service sucks.. oo and the escalator thing, taiwanese ALL stand on the right, if u are on the left, you MUST WALK... ahhh and look at singaporeans, they dont even care!! sighs.. i kinda wants to live in taiwan LOL when its politically stable. haha!
