29th October shall be a day i going to keep for myself. and im skipping school since only got one 2hour lecture. sorry biz law! and now i can officially bid goodbye to my hectic schedule for the past few weeks. though the next few weeks will still be quite busy.. ><

OCIP bazaar (7th Oct - 9th Oct)
actually my duty was only on friday, but i went down all 3 days lol. wed and thurs for a while only la. and its also because of this and MNO clashing together that makes me felt quite stressed out and guilty due to the inability to go for my MNO stuff. hais, then in the end when i found a way to adjust my schedule to go for MNO, there were changes!! so, in the end, i still cant go for MNO. BLEAHHH. >< anyway but bazaar was, to me, really the team bonding thingy, cos i got to know many other people better and found crazy partners! yay!! oo and i did up two "donation" cans the night before and all said they were nice hahaha! im so happy cos my efforts were appreciated yay! and they said they dont bear to throw away my decorated tin cans after they opened them up. wheee~~ hahaha! but the bazaar was quite successful cos managed to cover the costs and earned some money :) thanks all who gave us support!

OCIP carwash (12th Oct - 16th Oct)
the timings were from 730am-12pm (peak hour). physically tiring bah. but really very fun! once again, its another team-bonding session hahah! but then its like after carwashing duty, really very very tired to do anything else already :( cos i remember after tuesday carwash, i went for tutorial and tried super hard to focus then survived. but i totally died at the next lecture. cos i was sitting right at the back where the lecturer cant see me. HAHA. so thursday i also skipped lecture, cos i knew i will also sleep during lecture, so might as well, do more carwash! haha! but ok la, after carwashing, went lunch with them at Macs ^^ and sat in the NUSSU van and got "chauffeured" around the school. whee~

OCIP pre-trip (17th Oct)
before the pre-trip, went for lunch with szeying and apple at 日本村. i smsed the whole group lor, and in the end only us 3. tsk tsk. the rest no need eat one. haha. went down to MINDS to interact with intellectually disabled kids and play with them. it was kinda a very new experience cos its the first time that i was interacting with these people. communication was quite difficult cos the kids actually need some time to familiarize with you like to confirm you are nice etc before they will listen to you carefully. and to make them understand you, must spend a while rephrasing the words and gesturing even though both types will fail at times too. so its like really need a lot of patience! but when they finally understood you and vice versa , the satisfaction gained really quite great. ^^

OCIP bazaar part 2 (20th Oct and 21st Oct)
only went on 21st oct, cos was rushing out my term paper on tues. haha. part 2 was at science fac, quite quiet leh and there was poor ventilation. very humid :( but still sales were ok, managed to sell quite some stuff there too, although didnt manage to sell finish :( the revenue earned covered the last carwash day which was canceled due to heavy rain. bought my long-time-no-eat japanese snacks and my long-time-want-to-buy USB card reader ^^ nice shopping hahah!

OCIP immunization (24th Oct)
went with apple and jean to get the jabs done at braddell-toa payoh area and i finally drank my long-awaited KOI CAFE milk tea. XD all 3 of us are actually super scared one la. so we ended up in this hysterical mode in the doctor's room LOL. there was a mixture of tears and laughter during the jabs HAHA! i bet the doc must be thinking 3 crazy girls going Cambodia. but the doc quite nice la. i just think i very unlucky. cos out of 3 jabs, only one was perfectly fine. grr. now i got one swell and one blue-black.. and i totally had to be damn careful to avoid people hitting my arm. really damn pain can. =.=;;

oo and thats the end of OCIP. so much things done within 3 weeks.. power.

MNO Flea Market (10th and 11th Oct)
for our fundraising, we got goods from Salvation Army to sell at Ghim Moh flea market. profits were split la. lucky yongxin has contacts (of everything), thats why contacting went on very smoothly :) on top of the SA goods, i also went to ask my sister for her out-season goods to sell too. haha. zai bah zai bah. hais but those 2 days also very cui, cos everyday wake up at 5plus 6, SO GLAD THAT MY DAD FETCHED ME!!! <3 if not my house to ghim moh, really will die one k. during those two days, i totally learnt the ART of bargaining with aunties. aunties really quite irritating, some stuff already so obvious very very very cheap already, still want to bargain leh. ARGH! so tired to think of ways to persuade them. @@ nonetheless, we met quite a few nice people too. in the name of charity (which is true), these people will buy more stuff from us heh. some even offered to donate us stuff to sell! ^^ although very tiring, but the experience was good, like selling in a flea market, confirm only a minority of the population have tried that haha. oo and it was quite sweet of some of our classmates to actually come all the way down to ghim moh to support us! thanks!

MNO poiching day (13th Oct)
went down to huiping's primary school to collect old storybooks. hais and that morning i went to do carwash. really felt super duper haggard that day. after finishing collecting and sorting out the books, we cabbed down to queenstown CC to put the books there. then, i had to rush back to school for the EMCC briefing. argh. what a hectic day. lucky its all over now!

MNO 1st setting up (15th Oct)
can be said to be an uber important day cos we are bringing the kids over to the CC to help us set up the library. but the mrs raja was expecting a complete library when she brings the kids over. sorry la, but we are really not that free and we really tried our best le lor. so before she brought the kids back, she was like lecturing me and yongxin (esp yongxin cos she was the one liaising with raja) on how little effort we've been putting in and that she is very disappointed. wah, i felt so pissed off after hearing her lecture, cos its like all the tiredness that we've been suffering and efforts put in are all gone down the drain. she was so unappreciative! then, we ended up staying until 9plus at queenstown cc to finish building the shelves, cataloging the books, cleaning up the room and arranging the books into the shelves just to prove to her that we are really trying our best to build a nice library for the kids (raja kinda hint hint that she wants everything done by that day too). AND, when we called raja again at 9, she was so surprised that we were still around, duh! and started sounding very happy again. *rolls eyes*, i kinda despised her quite a bit after that day... >< but well, lucky i've got a great MNO group with the best group dynamics ever, and everything seemed damn fun cos we are such crazy people. LOL. if not, the few hours setting up would be torture. haha.

MNO 2nd setting up (22nd Oct)
went down to L.I.F.E first to pass raja the games that yongxin's ex-boss sponsored us. she was so $.$ when she sees the games la. tsk tsk. she got so happy that she offered to let us play with the kids using those games we gave her just now. =.=;; ya lor, so we went to teach the kids how to play. kids, being kids, really super energetic can. i totally felt that im some senior citizen when compared to them. their energy level really damn zai. after playing games with the kids, we went back to queenstown CC to do the final touch up on the library! left around 8plus 9 again cos we were too busy bitching and gossiping. LOL. whole group of girls aye... XP

MNO video editing (25th Oct - 28th Oct)
being the kid of technology, i was in-charge of video editing.. hahah. yupps. thats why IGNORANCE IS BLISS! our group met up on sunday in school, and to my amazement, so many people in school. university students NO LIFEEEE. ARGH, and i am one of them.. SIGHS. spent the whole day (930 to 730) in school, cutting out our video footages and filming our reflections. one whole day looking at computer and the details of video, *pats* my eyes. but im super proud of myself cos i did it! i finished two videos (10 min and 2min) alone with super strong moral support from my team mates in 3days!!!!! then now they are calling me 神 cos of my efficiency, LOL. *STRESSED* cos that kinda means, i must maintain my standard for the rest of my work. =.=; anyway, i love my macbook! w/o my macbook, i really dunno how to edit the video, cut the audio etc etc already. <3 <3 <3. Although iMovie almost crashed on me, almost making me burst to tears, everything still turned out fine! I AM DAMN HAPPY NOW!! cos my mno presentation is done! i dont have to worry about video editing. SUPER SUPER HAPPY AND TEMPORARILY RELAXED NOW!!! hahaha! and i really think my video quite nice compared to the other two groups who showed their videos today. WHEE WHEE WHEE WHEE!!! oo pamelyn was correct in saying that i will be super excited today. haha u know me so well.. ^^

EMCC duty (14th Oct and 28th Oct)
did video-ing of the show on 14th, learnt how to set up tripod and use a video camera! hahaha. things turned out better than what i expected. cos there was once i actually regretted joining EMCC. the people there not really my frequency, but now ok la, im starting to familiarize myself with them already :) :) and im picking up more fun skills along the way too!
did FOH on 28th, ok la. basically same rules as last time huangcheng ushers, just that this one got more stuff, cos need to go give out feedback forms and tickets. but at least no need do clearing up of the the audience seats etc. ^^ and i get to sit and watch show! hoho. met more new friends today! hee. and they are very gentle and sweet people haha. :) now considering whether i should go try for the production manager thing.. cos my plan is to participate in the NUS Arts Festival preparation. the whole festival sounds damn cool can. hahah. shall see how first bahh. right now finish projects more important.. =.=;;

lalala, thats all for my hectic month of october. now i can offically say byebye to the hectic schedule!! bedtime! :) :)
